WRAC broke ground in July on its future heritage center, and construction is slated to be completed in Spring 2027. The WRAC Heritage Center groundbreaking ceremony was held on July 22, 2025. We were blessed with perfect weather to accommodate 100 representatives from our partner congregations, contractors, vendors, family, friends, Cleveland Auxiliary Bishop Michael Woost, and Councilman Richard Starr.
Our gathering grew exponentially through the magic of livestream, connecting our cross-country family of partners! We prayed together, blessed the ground and, in the spirit of Catholic Sisters everywhere when embarking on a construction project, we placed medals and relics donated from our partner congregations in the soil. Finally, representatives from the various groups helped to “turn the soil,” just as we turn the page on our preparations to implement our plan.
